One of the focuses of any wedding reception is the wedding cake. Over the last several years, wedding cakes have become more and more elaborate. Now just about anything is possible - feathers, flowers, pearls, bling, ribbons - you name it!

I like to look through wedding cake galleries online to get inspired. There are just so many different kinds - and so many different layers. I am overwhelmed by all of the different options. I personally really like the idea of bling on a wedding cake - it certainly wouldn't be understated.

For any blushing bride trying to decide what kind of wedding cake to get, it can be an overwhelming decision. Find your wedding cake inspiration to get started. Remember to decide beforehand if you want something classic and simple, or bold and over the top!

My Parents: Renewing Their Vows?

 My parents are thinking about renewing their vows. For their anniversary a few years ago, they took a cruise to Hawaii. I remember looking at their pictures afterward and being quite jealous of their trip. It is just so darn beautiful there!

Now that they are thinking about taking part in a vow renewal ceremony, they are once again thinking about Hawaii.

Since my own dream wedding is a Maui wedding ceremony, I thought I would suggest it to my parents and see what they thought. I for one, really like the Makena Surf Beach. What an incredible backdrop! So romantic.

My Dream Island Wedding

 

In my last post, I briefly talked about one of the perfect places to get married - Hawaii! If you look at the photo above, you'll completely understand why someone would want to get married there! Blue water, a sandy beach, and gorgeous bouquets of Hawaiian flowers...there is nothing better. 

My ultimate dream wedding would take place in a breathtaking Maui beach wedding. When I think of a Maui wedding ceremony, I fall even more in love with the idea. Just imagine the wind blowing softly, the warm sun, and looking into the eyes of your future spouse - perfection!

Maui seems like the most romantic place to get married. I hope one day I am lucky enough to start the next chapter of my life somewhere so beautiful.

Who doesn't dream of their perfect wedding?

Like a lot of young girls, I started planning my wedding from a young age - my Barbie and Ken dolls got married more times than I can count! Since weddings are such joyous occasions, it's hard not to get excited thinking about them.

I am thrilled to channel my passion for these occasions into Wedding Packages and Wedding Ideas. Largely, this blog will focus on different wedding inspirations and the perfect places to get married.

Today, I leave you with a thought: Why not try a Maui wedding? Looking at pictures of Hawaiian beach weddings is one of my favourite ways to get inspired. I am completely taken by the beauty of the island. It always looks so picturesque in Maui wedding ceremony photos. I hope to visit there myself someday!
